Artist: Riley Catherall
Track: Mother Please
Album: When I Go

Mother Please is the third single from Riley Catherall’s debut album When I Go.

Riley wrote Mother Please for his own mother. “When I turned 18 and got my license, I would always be out playing shows and driving around doing whatever it is 18-year-olds do. In turn, I’d always come home late at night and Mum would be waiting up for me to make sure I got home safe. Now that I am in Melbourne, I am no longer coming home every night, so this was a song for my Mum to say ‘you don’t need to wait up for me anymore, but please don’t forget about me’,” says Riley.

Riley is building his profile as an outstanding country musician at a rapid rate with the previous two releases from the album Leave Me Out to Dry and Vacant Lot proving popular. He is an artist who balances gritty realism and heart-warming charm.
