Heart Bleed, the brand new single from singer–songwriter, Kate Hindle, delves into the contemporary side of her music. This break-up anthem cuts deep but relieves listeners’ pain by delivering hook after hook.
The production and storyline come together with a beautifully raw and real feel that brings the song to life, with producer Josh Schuberth capturing the emotion with perfection.
“This song would have to be one of my favourites that I’ve ever written, it all just came together perfectly. It’s honest, catchy and little bit sassy,” says Kate.
“I’ve got to fail to learn to fly” is a self-penned lyric and motto that Kate lives by. Finding the inner strength to keep pushing forward despite failure is something she understands best. From hospital beds, to learning to walk again despite chronic pain from degenerative disc disease, prove that Kate is a strong-willed young woman. Her pain and triumph were the inspiration behind her Ready for the Ride mini album released last yar, the title track a co-write with Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell. Kate says, “Writing the song from a wheelchair, with a broken heart, the lyrics bloomed from the inspiration of walking again and becoming mentally strong enough to achieve anything.” Her warm vocal tones and raw lyrics take the listener on a journey of love, personal victory, positivity, yet with a touch of heartache. Her new single, Heart Bleed, is no different.
