The Finley’s may not be a name that is instantly recognisable in the wider music community, but for those who understand its significance within Australian Country Music, the name represents more than three decades of songwriting, recording, and tireless hard gigging. Col, a 2025 Hands of Fame Inductee, has an impressive 30-year history in music; his wife, Nellie, also forged a successful career in Australian Country Music before choosing motherhood and becoming a small-town hairdresser in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Give Ya That Country Song is a feel-good anthem designed to lift spirits and provide comfort during life’s challenging moments. With its catchy melody and relatable lyrics, the song emphasises the importance of a well-crafted home-spun country song as a thing that’s always good for the soul.
