Chalkie White
Artist: Chalkie White
Track: Halley’s Comet
Single: Halley’s Comet

Crookwell country music artist, Chalkie White, returns with his first single in more than three years, Halley’s Comet.

A cruisy, upbeat, country single, Halley’s Comet was co-written by Chalkie with Golden Guitar winning Matt Scullion. The song brings about the situation of a relationship where one of the parties has possibly bitten off more than they can chew.

Self-produced by Chalkie (vocals, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and dobro) at Harley Road Studios in Crookwell NSW, and mixed by Steve Lindsay at Old Binda Road Studio, Halley’s Comet also features some of the best session players in Australia, including Josh Schuberth (drums), Rod Motbey (electric guitar), Michael Carpenter (Hammond organ), and Michel Rose (pedal steel).
