Ally Row—
Ally Row’s new single, Adeline continues the rise of Alice Fitzgerald and Rowan Sizer as one of Australia’s most talked about and exciting new acts in the Australian music landscape.
While taking a conscious new musical step alongside producer, Jason Resch, Adeline keeps all the things you love about Ally Row front and centre. There’s that signature warmth, dreamy banjo, sweet yet strong vocals and honest catchy lyrics.
As Rowan explains, “The song is an ode to the lovesick and the ones that got away. It’s a catchy, energetic celebration of loneliness while feeling untethered and missing someone so much that it feels like you’ll never recover.
“When a relationship ends, most of us wonder what we could have done better. Some of us stay lovesick and broken hearted and it feels like your whole world is caving in.”
Named winners of the 2023 Triple J Unearthed NYE on the Hill Fest competition, Ally Row is a high-energy folk-rock/alt-country duo who name Monsters & Men and Mumford and Sons as key influences on their sound. Their debut album, Something More, entered the ARIA Top 20 Australian Country Albums Chart at #5 in September last year.
